Chapter 9 summary Noughts and Crosses.
Sephy manages to escape successfully but Callum can’t stop thinking about what Sephy has said about Andrew. He tries to persuade Jude and Morgan and gets persuaded. They don’t know how to tell the General as they have no evidence against him for his actions. No one would believe a second in command is a spy. Because of this Jude, Morgan and Callum decide to split up and meet again in six months time on the day of Callum’s birthday.
We find out that Sephy is pregnant but she tries hiding it. Minnie ends up finding out and so does her parents. They are horrified and they demand that she gets an abortion. Sephy refuses to and her father lashes out at her. The media end up finding out about her pregnancy and Callum hears it on the radio. He manages to get past Sephy’s heavily guarded house and they meet in the rose garden and they start to discuss baby names for their new baby.
Callum ends up getting caught by the police by her father and tells everyone that he kidnapped Sephy but she refuses to name him as one of her kidnappers. She confirms that Callum is the father of her baby.
